The Game Changer

"it is our actions that define us"

We are given opportunities many times in our life to lift our eyes open and take notice to the choices we've made or have not made. These are the times I call game changers.  When you are able to step up to the challenge and be the person you are meant to be. It's the unknown fork in the road that becomes apparently clear.

They are the moments, experiences, conversations, opportunities, tests, etc. G-d's tests or the universe giving you a sign.  These are all gifts for you to see and act on exactly how you feel.

How you choose to react can set your future path. All credibility is either established or removed from that day forward.  It is living our truth!  No one to judge but ourselves. No one to be more mindful of than ourselves, our inner voice, our consciousness, our truth.

It is in that very moment when we have to recognize "here it is", and the time is now. As it is happening, we must sharpen ourselves, become our best selves, and pause in the emotion truth to honor ourselves and filter through the multiple choices we can take as our next step. It is also the power of equanimity. The ability to take note of our natural responsive state of mind before choosing to taking any action.

The power of choice is within us all, the gift of having game changing moments in our lives are those that help us define who we are, we we want to be, and the life we truly want to live without needing to negotiate ourselves.

Are you paying attention to those game changers in your life? Can you remember the last one and how it all happened? Did you notice how you responded vs how you reacted? What served you well? What would you have done differently and do you notice any patterns you'd like to reinforce or break?
