Adele is a first generation American whose parents worked most nights and weekends, yet went bankrupt her senior year in high school. Her ambition to do the unexpected led her to attend University of Florida on a full scholarship. She lived in a scholarship house and receive food stamps enabling her to work, go to school and live rent free. A proud Gator, she graduated debt free with her BS in Psychology, and minors in Statistics and Education. After being the first in her family to earn a college degree, she attended NYU and graduated with her Masters in Counseling while working as an HR consultant. Adele then spent 8 years as a fast tracked Global HR generalist in corporate America and entered an Executive MBA program sponsored by her employer. After surviving 9/11, she dedicated herself to start a family. While pregnant she worked full time, graduated with her executive MBA, founded The ScholarHouse Foundation, and practiced real estate on Long Island... she then met her real challenge, Motherhood!
Three months after the birth of her daughter Maya, she created a fitness company called Baby Cute LLC. Her mission was to build a community of mothers encouraging healthy living for her family and others. With her daughter in tow everyday, she dedicated her passion and drive to inspire moms at all stages of motherhood. Her leadership and focus is to enhance families healthy lifestyle design. As a former non-athlete and non-gym goer, Adele continues to embrace the beginner in us all while introducing new challenges and family fitness initiatives. Her own personal transformation, and her enthusiasm to help others drives her daily mission to encourage others set and achieve unlimited goals for themselves by living their best selves each day.
Adele began her journey into Fitness when she owned and operated a franchise called Fit4Mom/ aka Stroller Strides from 2007-2013 and taught pre and post natal fitness programs becoming certified to teach Stroller Strides, Fit4Baby, BodyBack, and LEAN. Long Island quickly recognized Adele by inviting her to become one of lululemon's first Roosevelt Field Mall Ambassadors. She also became the first HappyFamily Consultant on Long Island. She has been featured on Fios1, Newsday, MYLITV, NY Times, CBS, Best on Long Island, Marie Claire...to name a few. Adele also enjoys using her MBA to create partnership & marketing opportunities with sponsors and organizations including the Cradle of Aviation museum, LICM, BabiesRus, Little Gym, Gymboree, JCC's, Big Apple Circus, Vitamin Water, Nassau County Parks, Libraries, Method, and so many more.
Adele became a Yoga Certified instructor in 2013 at Lifepower Yoga studios at Lifetime Fitness in Syosset via the Jonny Kest program. WIth her love for all things ocean, she became SUP Yoga certified in June 2016. She was also invited to train within the Tony Robbins coaching program to continue her passion for counseling and lifestyle design initiatives. A true adventurer and enthusiast of many new experiences, Adele has learned the art of swimming, cycling, running, stand up paddling and triathlon training all while her inner yogi continues to grow. She did her 1st duathlon (bike/ run) on Mothers Day in 2012 and her 1st Triathlon in 2013, 1st half Marathon in 2014 and continues to find her beginner self.
Today, Adele can be found creating new programs, coaching business owners, building up her team members, consulting Worldwide initiatives and training national companies on workforce, HR & IT best practices. Anything is possible when Adele is involved...what doesn't challenge us, doesn't change us!
Purpose: To create a not-for-profit social venture called the ScholarHouse Foundation. This foundation will raise awareness and secure charitable donations in order to provide rent-free housing to gifted NY students with financial need enabling them to attend and graduate college with less debt burden.
Mission: The ScholarHouse Foundation will enable gifted students throughout NY to attend college while residing in rent-free housing facilities and benefit from cost savings. Students will be able to pool their money to pay for food and utility expenses. Graduating with less debt burden will allow students to enhance their future goals and participate in community development missions thereafter.
In addition to providing rent-free housing, the ScholarHouse Foundation will provide educational and developmental opportunities. Students will learn and live together in a culturally diverse environment where they will build interpersonal and leadership skills, a support network, and respect for those with different backgrounds preparing them for the interdependent world.
This not-for-profit mission will be accomplished by securing private, public, and corporate donations as well as services and product support available throughout the state of NY.
