"Your storage is full". Is this something I should fear? Am I living today to protect what was? Why is it so important to save everything? I love photos and memories no less than any other person. At times I think maybe even more. But the recent love of purging and making room for the new has become encouraging and refreshing. Where do we find that happy balance is the question I ask. What do we need to hold onto and what no longer serves us?
Now that I have to upgrade all my cloud accounts, it makes me wonder...am I truly living each day to its fullest and at the same time making sure that the few times I NEED to look back it's a non-issue? Key word "NEED"! My mind naturally looks back already...do I really NEED more reasons to? Let me be clear, I'm not referring to business cloud accounts or any legal obligations that would require you to comply. Having the ability to let go of what no longer serves us is a big lesson we must learn in life, especially when they won't let go of you unless you let it. And my storage being full is todays example of letting it. Leaving room to create a new path, new relationships, new moments to capture. Not to dismiss that our past may be filled with tons of wonderful things, experiences and people but I ask...Are we living authentically today just to preserve yesterday? What say you?
